Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE)-Overview

Established in 1990 by the Government of Kerala, it serves as the regulatory body for higher secondary education (Classes 11 and 12, commonly known as Plus One and Plus Two) in the state. The DHSE is responsible for overseeing the Higher Secondary Examination, developing the curriculum and syllabus, and implementing educational policies for both government and private schools affiliated with it. 

    Headquartered at the Housing Board Building in Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram, it aims to promote all-round development in higher secondary education through effective administration and academic support.
